Who we are
EASTECH Institute is the higher-education and advanced-skills institution of EASTC. We prepare graduates who can design, build, code, maintain, and lead in a technology-intensive economy.
The Institute sits alongside EASTC Technical Schools and EASTC Artisan College. Learners can enter at school or artisan level and progress into Institute diplomas and advanced programmes. EASTC Foundation NPC funds access for students who would otherwise be excluded.
Institutional commitments
Quality assurance, programme review, assessment and moderation, student support, language, RPL/CAT, work-integrated learning, and certification policies are in place as the Institute completes DHET site and CHE programme accreditation processes.
Teaching philosophy
Learning by doing: laboratories, workshops, studios, simulations, and workplace modules in every qualification.
Public purpose
Expand African technical capacity, with Foundation-backed access for rural and female students.
